Khana Peena's dome at sunset is a custom steel fabrication of eight fin-like sections. The underside design is a classic pattern used on many architectural elements in India. From a distance, the structure's mass suggests a positive shaped dome, but the negative area allows light and space to complement the overall structure with an airy, well-proportioned element.
