Inspiration for this 12 1/2 foot metal light fixture was found in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. It was suspended from a thatched Palapa and made of copper pipe and punched sheet metal. Our interpretation incorporated "canicas" (Mexican marbles) similar to many of the light fixtures in that original style, but we designed it for an Indian restaurant so the outside shape became more traditional and the cut-outs reflected the paisley or "mango" design so popular in India.
